How many recruitment stages do you have?

Well… one. Or two – depending on how you count it. After a short phone screen with our HR team, you will be invited to our office for a recruitment meeting, which will last up to two hours and cover both technical/domain knowledge and some HR topics. Easy – peasy 🙂

When should I expect to be contacted?

Once your CV is qualified for the next step of recruitment, someone from our HR team will reach out to you. However, please note that we contact only those candidates whose experience & skills match our vacancy requirements.

How long will I have to wait for feedback after the interview?

We try to provide detailed feedback within two weeks from the meeting. If there are any delays, we will keep you updated.

What technologies do you use?

As we are a software house, we use various technologies. Our team always picks the best one for a particular project. You can find an overview of currently-used technologies here.

What size are the project teams?

The number varies from 3 to 20 people. Again, it all depends on the specifics of the project.

Do you know which project I will be assigned to?

Miquido is a dynamically growing company, so – as much as we would like to – we can never foresee what projects will come our way in 1-2 months. That’s why during the recruitment process, we can rarely determine, which project you’ll be assigned to for sure (unless you apply to our more “static” teams such as marketing, HR or sales).

Will I be able to change the projects internally?

Yes, in Miquido when one project ends, another one starts. There is no room for boredom or stagnation. We do our best to keep our team members happy and allow them to change projects. Or technology. Or both.

What are the career paths in Miquido?

The most natural career path is to become an expert in your chosen field and be promoted to a Senior or Tech Lead position, mentoring more junior team members, providing technical feedback and working on architecture. However, a complete swap of technology is also possible, and we’ve seen some pretty impressive stories in Miquido so far.

I live in a different city – can I work remotely?

Unfortunately, there is no such possibility, but you can expect a relocation package should you decide to move to Krakow.

Is working from home possible?

Yes, after the probation period you will be able to work up to two days per week from home.

Is there a car park on site?

We have parking spaces available, but the number is limited, so we can’t guarantee that each new employee will be assigned one. You can reach our office easily with public transport or by bike.

Is there a place to lock up my bike?

Yes, bike enthusiasts will find two bike racks on site.

Is there a shower in the office?

Yes, the shower is available.

Do you work in open space model?

Yes, however, we have divided the open space as much as possible. Also, chill out zones and quiet rooms are available for everyone.

What hardware do you work on?

We like to work with best tools out there – hence do expect an Apple logo on your equipment.

How many screens does every employee get?

You’ll get two 24” screens.
