Financial Controller

Preparation of financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring financial accuracy and strategic alignment

Monitor financial performance, analyze key KPIs, and provide actionable insights to senior management

Ensure proper cost allocation and project profitability tracking in collaboration with different departments

Manage and participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements

Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements

Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to improve financial analysis and decision-making

Identify and drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and cost-saving opportunities

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards (IFRS is a plus), and company policies

Participate in analysis of tax compliance

Ad hoc reports preparation

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

3+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or financial analysis

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Proactiveness and proposing clear solutions to mitigate risks to CFO and Senior management

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)

Solid understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Ability to work independently and proactively manage financial processes

Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills

Fluency in both English & Polish

Availability to work from the office twice a week

Experience in a software/IT company or project-based financial controlling

Experience in BIG4 companies

Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS) and financial compliance

ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant financial certifications (completed or in progress)
