developing RESTful APIs, Microservices and web applications in PHP, using the Laravel Framework

developing new features and improving existing ones

participating in defining requirements

cooperating with project managers, developers, testers and customers to increase application quality

2+ years of PHP language experience

experience with any PHP framework i.e. Laravel (preferred), Symfony, Zend etc.

experience with developing REST APIs

knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)

ability to write unit and functional tests

habit of writing clear, understandable, maintainable and testable code

understanding of software design patterns

understanding of HTTP protocol

experience with version control system (GIT with GitFlow)

experience with Unix type systems (Mac, Linux)

familiarity with Agile software development

very good command of written and spoken English (min. B2 level)

strong communication and teamwork skills

being open to learn other technologies

understanding of Microservices architecture

experience with the Laravel 5+ Framework

experience with the AWS

basic knowledge about ElasticSearch

basic knowledge about GraphQL

familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes

bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
