Tasks
mentoring and supporting testers on the team
raising competences in the QA department, among other ways by defining the scope of recommended
training for individual testers, active participation in internal trainings
developing a quality assurance staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees
supporting the HR team in conducting recruitment processes for the QA team members and preparing job offers
involvement in the feedback process by helping other testers set goals
standardising solutions and technologies in the QA team
leading the day to day QA activities and priorities, while collaborating with engineering, product managers, technical support and other stakeholders
monitoring of test work through participation or delegation of tasks related to health checks of ongoing projects
cooperation with Traffic Managers, assistance in assigning testers to projects according to their knowledge and skills
identifying areas for improvement and preparing plans for their implementation in projects, including business communication with clients
involvement in the sales process (preparation of technical documents, participation in technical talks with customers, discussing QA needs, supporting the implementation of the automation process)
participation in workshops with clients (if needed)
active cooperation with heads of other departments to improve internal company processes
Must have
at least 1 years of experience as a Test Manager / Test Leader in construction and development projects for complex IT systems (experience in management support systems is a plus) and 5+ years of Software QA testing experience
practical knowledge of the tool and methodology for the implementation of manual and automated tests (web & mobile)
knowledge of mobile distribution application process
solid understanding of quality assurance and testing processes within an Agile environment
familiarity with different types of testing (regression, performance, E2E, FVT, penetration)
experience in team management
history of taking ownership and driving results
excellent communication and organizational skills
strong coaching and mentoring skills
analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
self-driven and ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in stressful situations
fluency in written and spoken English
Nice to have
experience in using CI / CD tools in the QA area
API Testing: Postman, Insomnia, GraphiQL lub Swagger
pentest/performance and stress testing: JMeter, K6, OWASP Zap or similar
working experience in Java, JavaScript or other programming language
ability to prepare client-facing presentations
