Miquido is a recognizable and well-known Software House from Krakow. We have opened a new Business Unit Miquido Services focusing on creating teams for clients, and therefore, we are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join the client’s team
About the project:
The client is a leader in offering modern logistics services. You probably use their application on a regular daily basis.
Tasks
Creation and improvement of application architecture
Developing new functionalities and maintaining them
Participating in the application design process in terms of UI/UX
Working in a SCRUM team that includes engineers – Android, iOS, UI, Backend, QA
Creating documentation
Developing unit and contract tests
Must have
Solid commercial experience
Very good knowledge of Android environment and Gradle
Very good knowledge of Kotlin language and patterns used in it
Very good knowledge of libraries: Coroutines/RX, Firebase, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, Room, Jetpack
Knowledge of version control system: Git
Familiarity with the operation of applications based on REST APIs
Willingness to develop and deepen knowledge (e.g. Jetpack Compose)
Practice in writing unit and contract tests
Experience working with Gitlab, Swagger, JIRA and Confluence
Familiarity with developing applications that also work offline
Experience in modularized projects
Security in mobile applications (system patterns, API connectivity)
